The GDPR deadline on the 25th May is looming large, and people are working hard to achieve compliance. As we finalise updating our systems and data processing procedures, we thought we would give you a quick update.

What is the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)?

In its simplest ‘definition’, the GDPR ensures that data we hold about you is protected securely, and that you have a right to access, copy and/or request the deleting of that data. Data can be anything from your name and contact details, to include things like product preferences and ordering history. The regulation is also designed to ensure companies only store ‘relevant’ data about you.

Enviroclean and Your Data

At Enviroclean, we have always taken the greatest care with any data we store. We have held a flawless ISO 9001 certification for over 7 years, which is a testament to the care we take with your data. However, we have reviewed our procedures to ensure we remain compliant with the latest legislation, and continue to protect your privacy.  As a result, we have updated our privacy policy inline with the GDPR guidelines. You can view a copy of our privacy policy here.

Please be assured that these changes have made little to no impact on the way we conduct our day-to-day business with you. For more details about your data and your rights, we recommend you visit the UK government ‘Guide to the GDPR‘.
